Wallpaper: All Things Prints Patterns and Color
One of my favorite design trends that is making its way back is wallpaper. There are so many ways to incorporate it into your home, but also so many versions that work and play into most aesthetics. It is easy to picture wallpaper and immediately envision a powdery light pink floral bathroom at your grandmother's house, and while that does have its own vintage flare, there are a few other styles I am a little more keen on! Below are five wallpaper looks that perfectly balance modern design and vintage taste.
Botanical Florals
I love the updated version of floral prints we are seeing for wallpaper designs, as exemplified by Rifle Paper Company. The graphic more botanical patterns are a modern and edgy take on the traditional rosy patterns seen in homes around the 50s and 60s. The darker shades can make this feel more gender neutral. You can even fill just half a wall with the paper for more subtle exposure. Botanical prints are great to go bold within bathroom spaces as a way of accenting one particular wall. It can feel more bold than some of the other wallpaper styles we will highlight, but it is a crowd favorite for a reason!

Subtle Graphics
I love how different this wallpaper feels compared to the last one. It is the perfect example of how wide the wallpaper spectrum is! From afar, this would look like just a green wall, but once you look closer it reveals the dynamic details. The subtle touch of the line work really elevates the overall look and feel of a room and is actually easier to take in, than a full dark green wall. The pattern breaks up the rest of the room and allows for the solid-colored furniture to really stand alone. I love this style, and it truly is so low-risk and a great starting point if you are looking to add some dimension to your space.

Natural Textures
Can you believe that this is wallpaper? This beautiful Grasscloth Textured Wallpaper exemplifies another subtle way to use wallpaper to your advantage. So much more unique than paint, and even more dynamic of a look, natural wallpapers have a way of completely revamping the look and feel of a room. Covering each wall in this in a living space or dining space would allow you to completely transform it into a completely different environment without creating visual overwhelm. For those of you who have a more minimalist style, this is a great option for you.

Scenic Scapes
For a more eye-catching look, these scenic wallpapers are certainly show-stopping! Both elegant and bold, I absolutely adore how unique and intricate these styles are. This can look beautiful in both small and large spaces, as long as you have the right style of furniture to compliment its unique style. Pair these prints with furniture that compliments its more old-fashioned taste, by using more traditionally upscale fabrics like velvet or silk. Mix in metals like copper, silver, or gold to really emphasize the drama. Leaning into the look is always the best way to go.

Neutral Tones
The softness of a neutral tone wallpaper can add an elegant facelift to a room. This wallpaper features little design details and instead feels more like paint than it does a print or pattern. This style is often seen in Scandinavian design where they really lean into organic shapes and neutral colorways. There is an ease and a relaxation that comes with a neutral wallpaper, and it is another noncommittal yet effective addition to any sort of room in your home.
